Silver pen – designed by birtepop
He who sleeps... does not sew...
An absolute favorite when working with materials such as faux leather, leather and vinyl. The silver ink produces a clear, even line on dark and smooth surfaces – perfect when you want to mark seam lines, placement or draw around pattern pieces and templates without scratching the fabric.
The ink dries quickly but can be removed with a damp cloth and water – as long as you don’t leave it on for too long. This means you get both precision and flexibility, without leaving permanent marks on your projects.
The pen case is made of bamboo and has the text engraved:
He who sleeps... does not sew...
The cap is made in a warm, yellow color. It also has a built-in click function, so it fits securely and protects the ink from drying out. This gives the pen a longer life – and you have one less thing to think about in the middle of working.
I have used this type of pen for years, but have always had to order them from the USA. There are probably similar variants in Norway, but I don't know of anyone else who carries this type with a bamboo case, birtepop yellow and Norwegian engraved text. The color, text and expression are developed by me, Berit – for you who also love good tools that work and feel nice to use.
The pen comes with one silver-colored refill cartridge.
To refill: unscrew the tip, push the cartridge in until it stops, and screw it back together. Refill packs of 3 are planned, but for now only complete pens are sold.
I have one at each machine and one at the ironing station. It's simply a tool I can't live without – maybe it will be for you too?
“Dette er det desidert beste mønsteret jeg har lest.” • “Denne tråden er helt fantastisk – den forandrer liksom farge etter hva man syr på.” • “Designet, fargene, ordene – POPkorn-lappene er så typisk birtepop. På beste vis.”
